Amazing, Wow, Holy Moly, GaahhhhDayummmm!!! This is probably my most favorite pizza spot!! When traveling to NorCal and back to So Cal I make it a point to hit this local gem up!!! The first time I found this spot I was staying the night in SB. This place never disappoints. Food always comes out consistent and same goods with the drinks! Let me start by saying their Caesar salad is hands down the best! It's so fresh and the baby gems used in it "Wow". Literally the best greens on earth!!! Try it guaranteed you will not just like but love!!! The parm and breadcrumbs "oh my" just get it!!! Next up the meatball Alla Vodka! Can I say the vodka sauce is crack and the sourdough focaccia bread is on point!!! The meatball is just delish!!! Soft, tender, and full of flavorrrrrr! Now let talk pizza. I'm not usually a margherta type of person but GaahhhhDayummm! The crust on this pizza and the perfect char!!! Oh my!!!!! Ask for the side of chili oil!!!! Did I say crust??? Yes this crust the texture, chew, and taste!!! I can taste it right now as I'm tying this out!!! Don't even get me started with the meat lovers! I'll just leave it at Margherta!! Service is always fantastic and the nice cozy feel to the restaurant is great. They have both dine in and a patio area. So if you are in Santa Barbara and craving a pizza give Bettina a try! I'm so glad I did!!!

This place has been very consistent every time I've come. The dough is perfection and the ingredient choices are everything I want in a bougie pizza.

Got their: Rosso (vegan, no-cheese pizza!): loved the flavors. Asked for extra red onions and kalamata olives which were amazing! Squash pizza: slightly sweet but tasted great! It may be seasonal, but would highly recommend trying it out. The place is quite small and there was a long line. But the ambience is nice. Parking lot nearby; free.

Recently did a road trip down to LA, and stopped at Bettina on the drive down. It was one of the highlights of my trip. Their vodka sauce meatballs are a must order. The cacio e pepe arancini is another hit, but the sauce they serve it with is a strange combo and it would be better without it. Great caesar salad. My only complaint was the waitress. We had a wobbly table and requested some help as soon as we sat down, but were ignored even after we reminded her again.

TAYLOR SHOUTOUT! First off, great ambience, better server, best food! Ambience: 9/10 Nice moody lighting, music wasn't too loud at all, great layout and all. Server: 10/10 Taylor was friendly and welcoming from the moment she walked up to our table. She gave great recommendations of drinks and food as first timers here. We were frequently visited throughout our meal and asked how it was, and were brought 2 complimentary glasses of champagne for an anniversary. Very sweet and great attention to the reservation notes :) Food: 10/10 Caesar salad had a perfect twist of citrus flavor to it, and there was just enough dressing without being overwhelming. We got the caio d Pepe risotto balls. FANTASTIC. I asked for a penicillin, which the bartender made perfectly. Also had the pepperoni pizza as is. The pepperonis were perfectly crisped, and it had a honey and pepper drizzle to it. Overall, a great last night in Santa Barbara, with a recommendation to try the ice cream across the street. Taylor made our visit special and took care of us with the right recs. Thank you!!

Great Italian restaurant. Service is a little hit or miss. Very family friendly. - Cacio e pepe arrancini: very good, but the sauce can be better - Burrata & beet: so simple, hard to go wrong with mostarda and seasonal fruits. It had a balanced taste of creamy, sweet and crunchy from hazelnut. 10/10 - Ceasar salad: good salad, very fresh - Meatball in vodka sauce: the sauce was more creamy than I'd like but the meatballs were done well. Texture was soft with browning effect outside. Tasted good with the herbs inside. We didn't try their pizza but planned to come back.

The pizza at Bettina is on another level. The crust is everything--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with just the right amount of char. It's the kind of crust you'd happily eat on its own. I'm a crust girl! But then they add these perfectly fresh toppings, like the pepperoni; that's the one I ordered but the next time I do want to try the prosciutto and figs. We also got the Margherita pizza and it was love at first bite for both pizzas. The service was great, we waited an about 30 min to get our order in but the locals told us it is a must and the wait is worth it. We can attest that it was. If you're in Santa Barbara, Bettina is a no-brainer. Great food, great atmosphere, and pizza you'll crave long after you leave.

First time at a Michelin restaurant and I was pleased Came to eat lunch on a Tuesday and was able to sit right at the bar top upon arrival as the restaurant was pretty empty at that time. The inside of the restaurant was really cute, especially the setup at the bar. Really helpful and friendly service from everyone working there. I liked that you could watch the chefs cook the pizza right in front of you. There seemed to be a bar top in front of the pizza oven but the counter was filled with possible to-go supplies. I ordered an espresso martini, which was delicious. I also enjoyed their specialty cocktail, "Winter Punch" despite it having Mezcal which I don't typically like. The drink was well crafted. We also enjoyed the Milliken Sweet Potatoes, however they recently changed the recipe a bit and the old rendition was missed by my friend. We shared a pepperoni pizza that was cooked to perfection, and ordered a side of their house made ranch to go with it. SO yummy. Olive cake and Chocolate chip cookie for dessert, and both were super yummy. Can't wait to come back for the pizza!

Decided to visit another Michelin spot in the 805 (the first time I went was with their collab with Na Na Thai), a Michelin Bib Gourmand spot. I rolled the dice without a reservation for lunch, walked in around noon, and luckily scored a table. If you're not too picky or with a big group, you can always snag a couple of seats at the bar, which seems to be a local favorite. First off, their bar is stunning! It's one of the most aesthetically pleasing setups I've seen, featuring local spirits like Ventura's Angeleno from Ventura Spirits. I ordered the spritz and an Italian red wine--both divine. THE food (because you've probably stopped reading by now, lol). The Cacio e Pepe Arancini were perfectly breaded, with the sauce adding a punch of flavor to each bite. The Farmer's Market pickles made for a great, bright contrast to richer dishes like the burrata and pizzas. Speaking of burrata, the Eggplant + Burrata dish is an absolute MUST. One of the best eggplant dishes I've had in a long time. The pizzas were simple yet bursting with flavor, and I really appreciate that they source their ingredients locally. I also tried the carrot ginger soup, which felt like a cozy bowl of Montecito itself. Service was super sweet--someone always checked in to see how we were doing, which added to the laid-back vibe. Plus, I loved the matchbook keepsake at the end! All in all, Bettina is a great local gem with both killer food and ambiance. Can't wait to go back for dinner and try the pastas!
